NVIS Android Installation Guide

Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the installation, ensure you have the following:

• An Android smartphone

• A valid license (wallet address) provided by your Administrator

Installation Steps

Step 1: Download and Install the APK

1. Obtain the NVIS APK file from your Administrator or the official NVIS website https://docs.nvis.ai/install/download

2. Open the APK file on your Android device.

3. If prompted, allow installation from "Unknown Sources" in your device settings.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 2: Verify the NVIS Logo

1. Locate the NVIS logo on your home screen or App drawer.

2. Ensure the correct NVIS logo appears.

Step 3: Launch the NVIS Application

1. Tap the NVIS logo to open the application.

2. Observe the "Connect" icon in the app.

• Initially, the icon should be gray

Step 4: Configure Connection Profile (If Required)

If no connection profile exists, follow these steps:

1. Tap the "+" button in the upper-right corner.

1. Enter a Name of your choice for the connection profile.

2. Input your assigned Wallet Address.

3. Press "GET DETAILS".

4. Wait for the application to fetch necessary data:

• Supernode information

• Community details

• Password

• IP Address

1. Press "Save" to store the profile.

2. Verify that the connection profile now appears with the chosen Name.

3. You should be able to see the “Add succeed!”

Step 5: Connect to NVIS

1. Tap the gray Connect icon to establish a connection.

2. Verify that the Connect icon turns blue, indicating a successful connection.

Step 6: Access NVIS Services

1. Open your browser on the Android device.

2. Enter an NVIS URL (e.g., http://10.0.1.65 )

1. You are now connected and ready to use NVIS services!

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, try the following:

• Verify that the Wallet Address is correctly entered.

• Check your internet connection.

• Restart the NVIS app and retry.

• Contact your Administrator for further assistance.
